You can use a program to design the inserts for the pocket fold yourself and then print them out. Stephanie printed out her invitation cards for the wedding on her own printer and then cut them out. But it would also be possible to have them printed and maybe even cut in a copy shop.
If you have no idea for the design yourself, you can have a look on Etsy, for example. There are very nice design templates for not much money in any design. The optimal dimensions for cutting your cards are:
- 11 x 16 cm for the backing card. This is glued in the middle of the pocketfold
- 10.5 x 16 cm for the largest insert (1 of 3)
- 10.5 x 13.5 cm for the middle insert (2 of 3)
- 10.5 x 11 cm for the smallest insert (3 of 3)
The following folding instructions can also be useful if you haven’t put together your pocket folds yet. Incidentally, liquid glue is best for gluing. You have to weigh the finished pocketfold down with a book or something similar for a few minutes. After that it’s glued perfect. Unfortunately, we have found out that double-sided tape or the adhesive mouse/adhesive roller can come loose after a while.
